McCade has found his new ATM (money machine for those A&M fans)...

Last night we were all coming home from mimi and papa's and McCade said the most precious thing. Doug had commented that the kids had been so good. They were going to be able to keep the dollar that we had given each of them (this is a new discipline thing we are doing...and yes it is very similar to bribery:)!!!). When we asked McCade were his was, he was unsure. He then proceeded to ask Daddy if he had his wallet on him. Doug commented that he did and then McCade said that his dollar was in there. How funny is that???

Addie's first word is...

Addie decided it is about time that she is heard...her first word is mama!!! I can't believe it. Both McCade and Anna Claire had dadda down way before they could say mama. I have to admit I have really been coaching her:)...

Happy Birthday Daddy...

Last night we had a wonderful time celebrating daddy's birthday over at mimi and papa's. The whole gang was there...Uncle J and Nate! Plus, we even got to see our sweet gigi.

Mom made a woderful dinner that ended with Doug's favorite dessert (cheesecake)!!! I will post pics as soon as I get them uploaded...

Kiddie Acreas...

Here is pics of a place that mommy use to go to as a little girl...and now the kiddos are going. Anna Claire found her little A&M guy...watch out dadddy...he is a little county. I loved getting to watch them explore...

It is day 5 of lock down here in the Brown household...I wish I could say pics were uploaded...but I have been busy cleaning(yes, I actually said those words MOM)...and with that comes great pressure. I have been a drill sergeant about the downstairs. I even moved almost all of the toys upstairs...there is two places that toys can feast (the kitchen cabibet and the hidden draw in the our toy coffee table area)...it is nice to have all of the children's stuff upstairs. I even caught a TLS episode of Jon and Kate, plus 8 from the early years before the show was named this...

Addie is...

Addie is growing up so fast. I get so sad thinking about all of her milestones being my last little baby's move into the next stage of life. I can totally relate to the baby syndrome or at least understand why a momma's baby will always be her baby:).

Addie will be 7 months on April 18th...she is eating food (soft, stage 1 type food). Yesterday was her first experience with tortillas. She loved it and would let us all know that she wanted more. When we tried to take away her crumbled portions, she would scream. Watch out Anna Claire, no more getting away with eating off of everyone else's plate:).

Addie is sitting up (I am actually giving her playtime on the floor)...of course with lots of instructions/directions for McCade and Anna Claire. This includes do not touch Addie (which is now the only phrase I feel is repeated way too much).
