Trip to Kansas for Rachel's wedding (end of May)...
I have been really behind in the picture gallery:)...I just realized when downloading pics that I have not posted May info! Here are some pics to Kansas. We made a pit stop in OKC to see Mom/Dad's college friends (Larry and Nancy). Thanks to Tod and Bekah for hosting the kids and I. We had a great time!!! It was so wonderful to see most of the family.
Trip to Kilgore to see Grammie
This was our trip to East Texas back in May (right around Mother's day)...here are some pics. We had a great time with Margaret and enjoyed getting to see Scott, Lori, Conner, and Brailey!
Of course, I had to include our stop on the road...we had an emergency bathroom break and everyone thought they needed to go:)...and what would a trip to see Grammie be without getting to make cookies! YUMMY...
Here goes our two past weeks...
Its always busy around here...so I do not get to blog as often as I would like to. Here is the happenings that have been going around the Brown's household, Georgetown, and surrounding areas! I will catergorize what has been going on with each of the members of our family (Starting with baby going to oldest)...
Addie: Addie had her 9 month checkup and she fits right in with all of the big Brown kiddos. She is in the 95% in height, 80% weight, and has a big head! I wonder where she gets that one from:)...She is crawling and even transitioning to stairs (she has crawled up two stairs...I have to get the bottom gate up! She is babbling a lot these days. She has said momma (once) and hi. Addie can also wave!!! She gets really excited about that.
Anna Claire: Anna Claire is talking a lot these days! Her language is amazing. She is the sweet second mommy to Addie (always wanting to feed her) and big brother's protector. Watch out Sunday School boys! McCade and Anna Claire are in the same Sunday school class and she loves to take care of her brother if anyone messes with him.
McCade: Growing up so fast...he is really good at following directions. We have been working on first time obedience. It does not always happen, but there are moments of sheer happiness on my part. Both the Anna Claire and McCade are going to preschool in the fall and I want to make sure they mind:)...McCade is very inquisitive, creative, and excuse me for bragging but bright. Half the time, I have no idea where he comes up with this stuff. This past weekend, he informed Doug that he wanted a dog. As you know, Doug is not into animals...he begged Doug that he would take responsibility for this little animal. Doug was amazed that he already knew what to ask for! McCade is our little jokester...he is always trying to make us laugh.
Sarah: I have been busy this summer directing VBS. I have come to the conclusion that I am not good at being in charge. Surprise, surprise. I have a hard time at delegating. I am quickly working on this. VBS is going great (don't get me wrong) and the kids are loving it. We have 4 more weeks...also, I just took a part time teaching postition at a Classical, Christian school. I will be teaching 2nd graders on T/Th this upcoming school year! I am really excited about the opportunity and look forward to getting to be a part of this.
Doug: Doug has been working hard! The mortgage business is going good...all of the changes have been keeping him on his feet and doing lots of research. Doug still plays softball for the church team. They are doing great (won 2 games last night!!!)...
Hope everyone is doing great! Would love to hear from you...

It has been forever!!!
We have been busy here in the Brown household. The last few months have included:
McCade-has a hilarious personality. He can throw a joke out there and get Doug and I rolling everytime. McCade is very smart and I am so proud of how he is learning to treat his sisters and friends. I have gotten the priveledge to teach McCade and Anna Claire's Wednesday night Church class and it has just been so fun to watch these two explore God's word.
Anna Claire-little Miss Mommy. She is loving her baby dolls. Often, you will find her caring them around, tucking them into bed with her, or strolling them on the new deck daddy put in. She loves to help mommy clean...I think she may have some of her gigi in her. She also has hit her 2 and a half years mark. She is a little winey or should I say sassy and very opiniated...but also soft spoken. Anna Claire has also taken up thumb sucking. I know we will be paying for this later, but it is pretty cute to see her doing this now.
Addie-our little mover. Addie is ever changing from the precious newborn into a beautiful little infant. She began sitting shortly after her 6 month mark...along with this new trick she was able to start holding her bottle. She still likes for Doug and I to prop it with a towel, but if all else fails...she will hold her bottle her self:)! She loves food (go figure). She is eating soft solids, with no teeth yet. Addie will stare down the kids if they get too close to her while eating. She is very vocal about wants. She also loves to eat mommy's bows (I mean the girls' bows:))...Officially, as of June 7th, Addie began to crawl!
I will post updated pics soon. Doug has the laptop with all of our pictures...
